COURSE OVERVIEW

‘A Foot In: To Radio’ is a unique hands on pathway for learners to start a career in the Radio and Media industry. The programme will provide an insight into the various possible career paths in the industry whilst improving participant’s technical, social, and interpersonal skills.

Each session will focus on improving your confidence and self-esteem, literacy and digital confidence, and presentation skills through real life practical experiences and opportunities.

The project will be delivered in 6 core modules for 16 weeks, with each session running for up to 4 hours, with additional tasks to be carried out independently online and at the studio as a volunteer.

ELIGIBILITY

To take part in the project, the learner must be unemployed, over the age of 16, actively seeking employment and available to work.
