Building skills and confidence through creativity
At Rising Stars North West, we understand the power of creativity. We work with young people in some of Greater Manchester’s most deprived areas, using creative skills and interactive workshops to:
- Build confidence and self-worth
- Boost literacy and numeracy levels
- Give young people transferable skills
- Drive young people towards employment
- Develop social, emotional and communication skills
- Bring young people, families and communities together

What do we do?
As part of our regular creative youth events, we bring young people together at the heart of their communities to showcase their talents and achievements.
Our focus on sharing talent right where it grew enables us to:
- Share young people’s achievements with their families and friends
- Build a sense of pride and worth to communities
- Increase footfall in local venues, including libraries, community halls and offices
- Bring positivity and creativity to under-privileged areas
